Use Stripe with Adrails: Meta ad spend next to real payments

Stripe records what was actually collected: charges, refunds and subscriptions. Meta reports what it attributes to its ads. Connected with a restricted read-only key, Stripe becomes the revenue side of every paid media question, and changes still wait for approval.

Without Adrails, and with it

What Stripe already does stays as it is. What changes is everything after it.

01

What Stripe knows that Meta does not

Meta's reported purchases are attributed conversions. Stripe's charges are money that arrived, minus the refunds that left. For a subscription business, the gap between the two decides whether a campaign pays for itself.

Adrails keeps both, each labelled with its source, instead of merging them into one number nobody can trace.

02

Read-only by construction

The key Adrails asks for is a restricted key with read access to the account, charges and refunds, customers, subscriptions and prices. Adrails checks those permissions before it stores the key.

With that key, Adrails cannot create a charge, refund a payment or change a subscription.

FAQ

Common questions

Does Adrails attribute each payment to a campaign?

No. Stripe does not know which ad brought a customer. Adrails compares spend and collected revenue over the same days and keeps Meta's own attribution separate.

Can Adrails change anything in Stripe?

No. The restricted key only reads accounts, charges, customers, subscriptions and prices.

Can Adrails change my budgets or pause ads on its own?

No. The Media Buyer agent proposes pauses, budget changes and scale decisions with the evidence behind them. Each one is applied only after a person approves it.
