Use Foreplay with Adrails: from creative brief to launched Meta ads
Foreplay organizes the creative side of ad work: saving ads, tracking competitors and writing briefs, with Lens reporting on your own ad accounts. It ends at a brief and the assets made from it. Adrails picks up those assets and prepares the Meta launch for review.

Step by step
Without Adrails, and with it
What Foreplay already does stays as it is. What changes is everything after it.
| Step | Foreplay alone | Foreplay +Adrails |
|---|---|---|
| Collect references | Swipe File and Discovery, with transcripts. | Unchanged. The swipe file stays in Foreplay. |
| Write the brief | Storyboards and scripts in Briefs, exported to PDF or Sheets. | Unchanged. The brief stays the record of intent. |
| Get the files into Meta | Upload each file in Ads Manager and assign it to its ad. | Drop the images into the conversation. Adrails reads each one's shape. |
| Build the test | Create the campaign, the ad sets and the ads by hand. | Pick one of three layouts. The agent builds the whole hierarchy. |
| Formats and copy | Crop for each placement and write the text of each ad. | Missing formats are asked for. Copy is written, reused or yours. |
| Before spend starts | Your own check of each screen before Publish. | The whole launch is shown with exact values and waits for approval. |
| Read the results | Ads Manager on one side, store orders on the other. | The Analysis Expert reads Meta results next to Shopify orders. |
| Cut or scale | Edit by hand. Why it changed is not written anywhere. | Proposed with evidence, applied after approval, kept with its before and after. |
01
What Foreplay answers, and where it stops
Foreplay's Swipe File and Discovery collect ads across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube with transcripts. Spyder follows competitors, and Briefs turns references into storyboards and scripts that export to PDF or Sheets.
Lens reads your Meta and TikTok accounts for creative analytics, but Foreplay does not publish ads. Once the brief is shot and edited, the files still have to become ads in the right campaign and ad set.
02
Give every brief a clean test
A creative team usually ships a batch per brief. Adrails asks whether the batch shares one ad set or gets an ad set or a campaign per ad, reads the formats of the images you drop in and flags the placements that still need a crop.
Consistent campaign naming, set once as a workspace template, means the results for each brief are easy to find again when the next brief is written.

FAQ
Common questions
Does Adrails integrate with Foreplay?
Not directly. The handoff is the finished creative: exported from your editing tool and dropped into the Adrails conversation.
Foreplay Lens already reads my ad account. Why add Adrails?
Lens reports on creative performance. Adrails prepares and publishes campaign work, with an approval before every write. One reads the account, the other changes it under review.
Does anything publish to Meta without my approval?
No. The agent prepares the launch and shows the account, structure, budget and ads it will create. Nothing is written to Meta until a person approves it.
