01

Add post-click product behavior

Ad platforms can report attributed conversion events, but product analytics explains what people do after acquisition. The PostHog connector reads event counts by day for the selected project.

Those events can provide activation and usage context when evaluating paid acquisition quality.

02

Use explicit project and region settings

The connection requires a personal API key with query read access, a numeric project identifier and the PostHog host for the project's region. Adrails verifies the project before storing the connection.

The current synchronization is bounded to recent data and does not request write access.

03

Define meaningful product events

Raw event volume is not automatically a business outcome. Teams should identify the events that represent activation, retained use and conversion before using them in a campaign decision.

Adrails keeps the event name and source visible so the analysis can be checked against the product definition.
